Mulhouse has a very diverse cultural life which thrives in many places.
"La Filature", National Stage and creation space, welcomes all live arts (music, dancing, theater...) ; it also hosts the Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra, the Rhine Ballet and Opera, as well as the Mulhouse media library, and its multimedia center.

The theater is king in the " Théâtre de Poche ", and at the " Théâtre de la Sinne " (Alsatian theater, children's theater, boulevard theater), which also puts on shows from the Rhine Opera and chamber music.
At the " Saint-Etienne temple ", every Saturday, at the right time of year, you can attend the "Heure Musical" (Music Hour) or Advent concerts.

French pop music and rock stars have their own space at the " parc expo ". The "Noumatrouff" is dedicated to all of today's music : world music, trash, French singer-songwriters, rap... and the "Entrepôt" mixes all styles : cabaret, cafe-theater, jazz...

Mulhouse also houses the Art et Essai du Bel Air with two auditoria, and also has a 14-auditorium " Kinépolis ".

There are also various places for exhibitions, for instance " La Cour des Chaînes ".

Over 1000 Mulhouse associations provide activities and services for the town and its area.

They form the core of social life and bind it together. Every day, they work on developing solidarity, promoting sport, and helping as many people as possible, young and old, to discover culture in all its forms...
